So what is an attribute or property? Well it all depends who you ask or what it involves. But attributes are all similar in how they help describe what’s going on with, in or on a piece of work as if the work was described as parts or properties.

  • Google: “A quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something.”
  • OpenSea NFT: “To give your items a little more pizazz, we also allow you to add custom “attributes” to your metadata that will show up underneath each of your assets.”
  • Developer: “A piece of information which determines the properties of a field or tag in a database or a string of characters in a display.”
  • UXUI Art: “100 items I personally create, use or refer to as part of my UXUIFE Design Process.”

What it all comes down to is the ability to create rarity value per work of art. Here’s a great article to help explain on Medium.

As for my work, since it’s not an ape wearing a hat or beard but rather a building wearing an Empathy Map or Dropdown I treat it the same way. Over time some of my work will be more valuable, not just by artistry, but by how many of my 100 items are in the piece itself. My goal is to someday create a piece that has all 100 items in it! Not an easy task, since each piece attempts to tell a story.

So, now that you have an idea as to what UXUI Art attributes are you can go back and look at each art piece and try to pick out each individual item.
