Users Landing

Users Landing Story

UXUI Art – I’m the user and have just landed in a beach chair. I’m learning how to play the song “Come Sail Away” using an online video to show me where to place my fingers. I have a checklist for the chords I’m learning as well as the website to learn from using sheet music. The hero slider at the bottom is me dreaming about my next sailboat race. I Love UXUI so I place my sticker upon thy guitar. When not learning to play music I’m sailing my RC sailboat. Oh yeah, the imaginary skipper on the RC boat has to decide to switch sides every-time the RC user turns.

User Landings

UXUI Art – User Landings is a massive apartment complex in the form of UXUI. Because there is so much going on within that it made a great setting for what could be potential for it’s on website or app for those that are interested in moving here as well as those that already live here. The hero images suggest some of the many things you might do as a resident. The user experience is also evident in the research done in and around the property.

Empathy Stalls

Empathy Stalls

Empathy Stalls came to me through a new friend that is also a product manger. As such she understood the product design process and all the activities and content related to it. She introduced me to her horse. I was immediately reminded of all the horses I have been around in the past and how much empathy I felt for all of them. So, I dedicated this piece to the Empathy Map. An empathy map is a tool used during UX research to get to know our users separated into sections of what that user Says, Thinks, Does & Feels as well as their Pains and Gains. I imagined this also applying to horses:)

PlaceHolder

One of my favorites. Not only does this have a great perspective but it has a great story about westward expansion. The original settlers cabin placed on the side of a building is a perfect reminder of the way things were. I could imagine the ground dropping as the building rose around this delicate yet safe and secure cabin.

Entry Points

UX UI Art - Village

Entry Points is my interpretation of this scene in the form of my design process. In other words, I have incorporated as many UX/UI & FE components as I deemed necessary, right down the the front end code itself that talks about riding a Vespa through town.

Sea Envy

Went sailing on the deep blue sea. We weathered winds, and crashed through waves, and we were strong, and true, and brave. And we were still in love, so we; kept sailing on the deep blue sea. The little boat of you and me.”
